We believe that a funeral should be a true celebration of the life of the individual. It should be a time to say goodbye and a time to remember all the gifts they have given.

There are remarkably few rules and regulations surrounding funerals as long as they are conducted with respect. We have lots of different ways to make your ceremony special, or you may have your own ideas and need someone to help bring them to reality. You may wish the ceremony to be conducted at home or in a special place of your choosing. Maybe you would like a room filled with spring flowers, or all the guests to bring something that reminds them of the person. Let us help you find the perfect tribute.

Memorial Celebrations

We are also able to help arrange memorial celebrations. When someone dies it can sometimes feel too soon to engage at the time of the funeral. It may feel appropriate to have a celebration at a later date. This may be helpful if the death was particularly sudden or traumatic, such as a murder or suicide or the death of a child. An individual may have died abroad, or for some reason many friends and family were unable to attend.

Having a memorial celebration after the event can provide the opportunity for people to reflect and enjoy their memories when emotions are less raw and confused.

You may wish to have a small private ceremony for an important event in your life such as a miscarriage or termination. We can conduct and/or help you plan this. Please contact us for further details.

Advance Preparation

We are happy to provide consultations for those who would like to prepare for their own funeral and plan their ceremony in advance. We will prepare a folder containing your individual ceremony and wishes, for you to keep until it's needed. Preparing in this way can be therapeutic and avoid undue stress for loved ones left behind.
